Leadership Round Rock Class Project

The Round Rock Chamberʼs Leadership Class of 2020 has chosen to assist in raising funds for the Williamson County Childrenʼs Advocacy Center Safe Space program as their 2020 class project. Through this project the class hopes to not only raise the proper funds to give children the opportunity to heal but also to continue to raise child abuse awareness in the Round Rock community.

The Williamson County Childrenʼs Advocacy Center has provided a welcoming, child-friendly, safe place for child victims and their families to share their experience of abuse since 1997. The Williamson County Childrenʼs Advocacy Center is the first stop for children within the Round Rock and greater Williamson County community who are suspected of being abused.

From providing forensic interviews and medical examinations to offering the proper services as it pertains to mental health, counseling, and community education, WilCo Childrenʼs Advocacy Center has supported the Round Rock community for over twenty years.

The Safe Space program provides room renovation assistance to a child after experiencing abuse, helping in the healing of these children by giving them their safe space back.
