Round Rock offers an array of early childhood education, pre-school and after-school care options. Including entities such as Texas Spanish Academy,  The Fellowship Christian Academy and Preschool at the Y.

Round Rock Independent School District (RRISD) is ranked one of the best districts in Texas. The ISD offers award-winning, highly ranked schools in grades K-12 and beyond. More than 90 languages are spoken across the school district which encompasses 35 elementary, 11 middle and 7 high schools. Round Rock ISD also partners with Austin Community College to offer accelerated certification programs, allowing students to earn college credit during high school.

Round Rock boasts a variety of specialized public and private K-12 schools that offer various approaches to education, religious affiliations and types of curricula. IDEA Round Rock Tech is a public, tuition-free charter school that boasts national rankings and offers a strong track record for sending students to college.

Meridian School is another public, tuition-free charter school that provides a continuum of International Baccalaureate education to almost 1,700 students. Additionally, Round Rock Christian Academy is a 40-year-strong college preparatory school in Williamson County with an enrollment of more than 500 students in Pre-K-12.

As a nationally recognized two-year college, Austin Community College provides an affordable education with marketable skills. Texas State University – Round Rock offers junior- and senior-level classes, master’s degrees, one doctoral degree program, as well as various post-baccalaureate certifications and continuing education programs. Offering both undergraduate and graduate degrees, South University offers programs that combine industry-aligned coursework and hands-on experiences with faculty support and mentorship. Texas A&M Health Science Center affects nearly every county in the state of Texas with its medical research, service and education in the health professions.

The Round Rock Chamber is a dedicated resource to help businesses source, train and upskill its workforce. Additionally, the Round Rock Chamber has an abundance of workforce development partners that work closely with its business community, including Goodwill Industries, Austin Community College’s Corporate Training Solutions, Texas State Technical College and Workforce Solutions Rural Capital Area.
