Round Rock Employer, Tekscend Photomask Round Rock Inc., Recognized for Workforce Initiatives

Tekscend Photomask Round Rock Inc. (“Tekscend”) has recently received recognition by Texas Veterans Commission and Skillpoint Alliance for their hiring initiatives and partnerships.

On August 22^nd at the Texas Conference for Employers, Tekscend was recognized along with a number of Texas employers by the We Hire Vets program. This program honors employers whose workforce includes at least 10% veterans.

On September 18^th, Skillpoint Alliance held their 4^th Annual Partner Luncheon to celebrate workforce champions and the growing impact of employer partnerships in creating life-changing opportunities in skilled trades and manufacturing. At this event, Tekscend won the award for the Manufacturing Referral Leader. Tekscend referred over 60 candidates to the Skillpoint, which is a workforce development organization that provides in-demand workforce training to vulnerable members of the Central Texas community.
