Round Rock ISD Recognized at 2021 State of Education and Talent Event

Austin Chamber held their 2021 State of Education and Talent event on October 28. The event celebrates school and business partners developing future talent and preparing students for postsecondary and career success. Round Rock ISD and Round Rock area business partners were recognized at the event in certain categories.

Nominated by RRISD, Ranger Excavating won a 2021 Business Champion Award. The award is due to efforts such as the Ranger ACE Construction Camp, where a special group of about forty Round Rock ISD students worked with Ranger Excavating to build a basketball court at Vic Robertson Elementary.

Round Rock ISD was also recognized for efforts made to increase student participation and for continued improvement at specific campuses and the ISD overall. Round Rock ISD was recognized in the following categories:

  • Highest Senior Survey Participation Rate by Enrollment for a High School Campus: Westwood HS, Round Rock ISD
  • Greatest Improvement in Direct-to-College Enrollment for a High School Campus: McNeil High School, Round Rock ISD and Stony Point High School, Round Rock ISD
  • Greatest Improvement in Direct-to-College Enrollment for a School District: Round Rock ISD

Congratulations to Ranger Excavating and Round Rock ISD! Additional information on the event can be found here.
