Round Rock Chamber Participates in Williamson County Chamber Day at the Texas Capitol
On March 13th, the Round Rock Chamber and members of its Business Climate Council recently joined business and community leaders from across Williamson County for Williamson County Chamber Day at the Texas Capitol. This event provided an opportunity for chamber representatives to engage with state legislators and advocate for key business and economic development initiatives.
Attendees heard remarks and insights from several distinguished state leaders and their staffers, including Representative Caroline Harris Davila, Representative John Bucy, Senator Charles Schwertner, and Representative Terry Wilson. These discussions focused on legislative priorities that impact Williamson County, including economic growth, workforce development, and infrastructure investments.
The Chamber also participated in a lunch panel discussion led by the Round Rock Chamber’s Business Climate Council chair, Amy Mizcles, featuring representatives from the Texas Association of Business and Texas 2036. The discussion provided valuable perspectives on the state’s economic outlook and the role of policy in shaping Texas’ future business climate.
By actively participating in Williamson County Chamber Day, the Round Rock Chamber continues to advocate for policies that support local businesses, strengthen the economy, and enhance the overall prosperity of Round Rock.
