Army Futures Command Delivers Keynote Address in Round Rock

This week, Army Futures Command (AFC) delivered a keynote address to The Round Rock Chamber’s Momentum investors. More than 90+ Momentum investors and community leaders gathered to hear the address from Major General Edmond ‘Miles’ Brown, Chief of Staff, Army Futures Command (AFC). 

AFC, the Army’s newest major command, chose to establish its headquarters in Austin in 2018. AFC is responsible for transforming the Army to ensure war winning future readiness, employing nearly 30,000 soldiers and civilians at 128 locations worldwide. 

Since its inception, not only has AFC had a major impact in the region, but they also have boots on the ground in Round Rock. AFC’s Resource Operations Center, known as the “ROC” operates on Dell’s campus.
