The Round Rock Chamber Ambassador Program helps support the chamber’s mission by ensuring that new investors are welcomed to the chamber family properly and they play an important role in ribbon cutting events. This month’s Ambassador Spotlight is on Glynn Williams.
Glynn was born and raised in Oklahoma and after graduating high school spent a few years traveling around deciding where to put down roots. He went to college in New Orleans, then moved to New Mexico to be closer to family. He had a brief stay in Lubbock and then found his way to Round Rock almost six years ago and cannot imagine leaving.
A couple of years after putting down roots in Round Rock he and his business partner decided to put their technical experience to the test by opening Williams Innovation. A small business IT firm that focuses on supporting small businesses and helping them use technology to grow their business. Being new to the area and not knowing many people, Williams Innovation immediately joined the Round Rock Chamber as an investor and then the following year, Glynn joined the Ambassador program.
Glynn joined the Ambassador program because he wanted to give back to a community that has given so much to help his business thrive and grow. As an Ambassador, Glynn has met numerous business associates and made several friends all while being able to welcome and invite new members into the community.
