Ambassador Spotlight: Deana Cavanaugh

Round Rock Chamber Ambassadors help support the chamber’s mission by ensuring that new investors are welcomed to the chamber family properly and they play an important role in ribbon cutting events. This month, we are highlighting Deana Cavanaugh.

Deana is a native Texas who found her way back to the Lone Star State upon her father’s retirement from the United States Army. She is a proud Texas Tech Red Raider who studied English as an undergraduate student and stayed at Texas Tech to earn her MBA in Business Management. Deana worked in government contracting for five years at Fort Hood and in Houston before entering the field of construction. After meeting and marrying her husband, the Cavanaughs relocated from Houston to Round Rock to begin their family.

Deana has been an Ambassador since 2017 and enjoys cultivating relationships and helping others build and expand their professional and personal networks by helping them integrate into the community. “I love taking part in the success of the businesses in our community and helping ensure that Round Rock continues to thrive.”

Deana currently works for Lott Brothers Construction Company as their Business Manager. She focuses on hiring, training, and retaining great employees, maintaining excellent client relationships, and marketing. Deana is a graduate of Leadership Round Rock class of 2018, and is currently serving as Vice Chair of the Ambassador Program and Vice Chair of the Ascend Leadership Program.

Deana lives in Round Rock with her husband, Timothy, daughter, Clara, dogs, Walter and Abigail, and eagerly awaits the arrival of the newest Cavanaugh in August of this year.
