Workforce Development Opportunity: Ladders for Leaders 2024 Summer Internship Program
Ladders for Leaders is an organization that serves to bridge the gap between high school students and career exploration through internships and occupational experience. This year, they have over 200 interns who have applied to their 2024 Summer Internship Program. Ladders for Leaders is currently looking for businesses in all industries to connect our Interns with work experience.
The 2024 program will run from June 10, 2024 – July 19, 2024. Ladders for Leaders prepares students to be great employees by requiring all interns to participate in their Ladders for Leaders University sessions and pre-employment job training. Students will learn how to obtain employment, conduct themselves in a professional manner, value time commitments, and develop workplace skills. Ladders for Leaders also helps to conduct the interviews between students and employers or allows the business partners the option to interview and make the final decisions for the internship program. Lastly, in order to provide additional assistance for the business, Ladders for Leaders will provide a board member liaison to the business and the intern throughout the duration of the internship to work through any issues and to help maximize this opportunity for everyone.
