Williamson County Ranked Top 10 in Country for Job Growth

Williamson County, Texas, has been recognized as one of the nation’s top 10 counties for job growth, according to recent data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. The county achieved an impressive 2.5% increase in employment between December 2023 and December 2024, tying for 10th place among the 355 largest counties in the U.S.

In addition to job growth, Williamson County also led Texas in both job and wage increases. The average weekly wage in the county saw an outstanding 7.2% rise from the previous year, reflecting a strong and competitive labor market.

These achievements underscore Williamson County’s status as a thriving economic hub in Central Texas, offering abundant opportunities for both employers and employees.
