As we wrap up the end of the year, there are continuing opportunities for learning about existing resources in the area and hiring opportunities available for your business to participate in to meet your workforce needs. For more information on upcoming events, see the information below:

Hiring Red, White & You – The 12^th Annual Hiring Red, White and You Statewide Veterans Hiring Event is Being Held in-person and online on Monday, November 13^th, 2023, to enhance career opportunities for veterans, transitioning military, and their spouses. However, this is also an event that is open to anyone in the public who is looking for a career opportunity. Hiring Red, White & You! is a joint initiative supported by all 28 Texas Workforce Solutions development boards, the Texas Workforce Commission, the Office of the Governor, the Texas Medical Center and the Texas Veterans Commission.

Round Rock ISD Teacher and District-wide Hiring Event– Round Rock ISD (RRISD) will hold a job fair starting at 5:30 p.m. Nov. 16^th at C.D. Fulkes Middle School, located at 300 W. Anderson Ave., Round Rock. RRISD is hiring elementary general education, special education, math, science, CTE Health Science, Spanish, Dual Language teachers, educational assistants, police officers, bus drivers CDL and non-CDL, custodians.

Workforce Solutions Rural Capital Area (WSRCA) Workforce Wednesdays Virtual Career Expo – Every Wednesday WSRCA hosts a virtual job fair for potential employers and employees. For more information on the next event (November 15^th), visit here.

WSRCA Hiring Event – WSRCA holds a monthly hiring event on the second Tuesday each month for a hiring event featuring employers from a wide range of industries. This next event will take place on November 14^th. For more information, click here.
