Texas State Technical College East Williamson County Campus Expansion Groundbreaking
On February 5, officials held a groundbreaking ceremony for Texas State Technical College’s expansion of the East Williamson County campus in Hutto. The planned new 70,000-square-foot, two-story facility will house three programs, including:
- Advancement manufacturing technology-semiconductor

The project will cost $47 million and will allow the school to triple the amount of enrollment in its manufacturing programs. Central Texas has continued to experience growth and with that we continue to need more programs in order to train the needed workforce for those positions. This expansion is another tool that will continue to address the needs of our community and help to fulfill our workforce pipeline.
