Texas Named #1 Business Climate in the Nation

Last week, Round Rock Chamber CEO, Jordan Robinson, had the exclusive privilege of attending a prestigious event at the Texas Governor’s Mansion, at which it was announced that Texas was named the Top Business Climate in the nation by Site Selection Magazine.

This recognition is a testament to the unwavering dedication of organizations like the Round Rock Chamber in fostering a thriving business environment. It reaffirms that Texas is truly the best place for business. The Round Rock Chamber, a leading economic development organization in Texas, was among the select organizations invited to this exclusive event.

During the press conference, Governor Abbott took the opportunity to personally thank the hardworking economic development organizations and chambers of commerce for their steadfast commitment to creating a positive business environment. He stated:

“Today, we celebrate another victory for Texas—this time with Texas listed as the No. 1 business climate in the United States of America,” said Governor Abbott. “This is the first time we’ve won this award from Site Selection since 2011. All of this is a testament to the exceptional economic development professionals and chambers of commerce in Texas.

Texas is America’s economic juggernaut, and we are now the eighth-largest economy in the entire world. We cut red tape, we have lower taxes, and we have the best workforce in the United States. Most importantly, the Texas economy is great for all Texans. Texas is the modern embodiment of the American dream—the land of freedom for entrepreneurs. Thank you to the hardworking people of Texas for making this award possible.”

The Round Rock Chamber is proud to play our part in fostering a positive business climate that contributes to Texas’s achievements. Let us continue to work together to ensure that Texas and Round Rock remains the premier destination for businesses in the nation.
