Shop LC to now build in Cedar Park in 2027 after resigning lease in Round Rock
Macroeconomic challenges such as inflation and high interest rates cited for the holdup

Months after Shop LC representatives announced a delay in plans for the shopping company’s massive new Cedar Park headquarters, they now say they plan to start construction on the 200,000-square-foot facility by 2027.
In the meantime, company President Vineet Ganeriwala said on April 24 that Shop LC — equal parts an e-commerce, media, logistics and manufacturing company — has renewed its lease for another five years to remain in the three buildings it occupies in Round Rock at 100 Michael Angelo Way until at least 2029.
“We love where we are. We are very, very attached to the community here as well,” Ganeriwala said. “The only reason of moving to Cedar Park … was having a land parcel where we can build our own facility. Other than that we enjoy where we are presently. Another few years in Round Rock, I think that’s good.”
