Sabey Data Centers Announce Expansion in Round Rock

The Round Rock Chamber is proud to celebrate the continued growth of Sabey Data Centers as construction begins on Building B at their Round Rock campus, strategically located in the city’s tech corridor. This expansion strengthens Round Rock’s position as a key hub for cutting-edge digital infrastructure and high-performance computing.

The new three-story facility, known as Austin B, will ultimately deliver 54 megawatts of critical power, with the first 18 megawatts expected to be online by Q3 2027. Purpose-built for enterprise and hyperscale needs, the building is liquid-cooling-ready and designed to support high-density workloads such as AI, HPC, and advanced research—meeting the demands of tomorrow’s innovation economy.

Sabey’s decision to grow their footprint in Round Rock highlights the region’s unique combination of infrastructure, talent, and forward-thinking leadership. This investment underscores Round Rock’s growing reputation as a premier destination for advanced technology and data operations.

Austin B follows the successful deployment of Austin Building A, where 86% of current tenants use liquid-cooled systems. Building B builds on this foundation, offering highly efficient, scalable environments and supporting power densities exceeding 200 kilowatts per rack.

Now open for preleasing, the new facility is an exciting opportunity for companies seeking resilient, next-generation data solutions within a proven and operationally mature platform.

The Round Rock Chamber applauds Sabey Data Centers and their partners for continuing to invest in the future of Round Rock, and we look forward to the new jobs, innovation, and momentum this expansion brings to our community.
