RRISD Partners in Education Foundation Seeking Volunteers to Evaluate Grant Applications

The Round Rock ISD Partners in Education Foundation needs volunteer help evaluating Excellence in Education Grant applications. The Excellence in Education Grants provide resources for educators to execute innovative ideas, programs, materials, equipment, and various other needs that enhance student learning.

The evaluation process is fun, simple, and is completely online with a review period from September 14 through September 23. The applications are brief and the evaluations should take no more than an an hour of your time. You will review your assigned applications online, assign a score based on a rubric, and then submit your evaluation. They are blind evaluations so you will not see the name of the staff person, or school submitting the application.

2020 Grant Evaluation Time Frame: September 14 with due date to complete September 23.

Please email the PIE Foundation if you are able to commit to evaluating grants during this time frame.

  • After receiving your confirmation, you will receive an email that will ask you to create your online account with SmarterSelect.
  • Next, you will receive a notification when applications have been assigned to you for evaluation.
  • You will sign in to your account and complete the evaluations. Evaluations need to be completed by midnight on September 23.

Your time and expertise will be greatly appreciated. Evaluators are an important piece to the success of the grant program. Staff and students appreciate your contribution to enhancing their learning environments.
