Round Rock Supports Innovators at Austin Tech Week 2024

The Round Rock Chamber, represented by Kathryn Alvarado, Economic Development Coordinator, recently attended Austin Tech Week to learn how Round Rock can further support tech startups and build partnerships across the tech ecosystem. Austin Tech Week 2024 brought together a variety of influential figures in Central Texas’s tech ecosystem, marking a milestone in the event’s history as a five-day celebration of entrepreneurship, innovation and business impact. Formally known as Austin Startup Week since 2011, this annual celebration has grown into one of the region’s largest events for connecting tech leaders and innovative entrepreneurs. From October 28 to November 1, thousands attended, exchanged insights and established relationships that will continually strengthen the future of technology in Central Texas.

The event featured more than 100 sessions, covering topics like women in technology, artificial intelligence, the power of storytelling, scaling internationally and engaging venture capitalists. Key highlights included a startup crawl to demo products, workshops on scaling tech ventures and fireside chats with prominent industry leaders.
