Round Rock Named One of the Top 100 Best Places to Live

We’re proud to share that Round Rock has been named one of the Top 100 Best Places to Live in the U.S. by Livability.com in its highly anticipated 2025 list. This annual ranking recognizes the most vibrant and livable small to mid-sized cities across the country, spotlighting communities where people are building careers, raising families, launching businesses, and enjoying a high quality of life.

Livability’s list is based on a data-driven methodology that evaluates nearly 100 data points across eight key categories, including economy, housing and cost of living, amenities, transportation, environment, safety, education, and health. All categories are equally weighted to reflect the evolving priorities of today’s families and professionals, and only cities with a median home value under $500,000 were considered. Livability partnered with Applied Geographic Solutions to analyze data from over 2,000 cities with populations between 75,000 and 500,000.

Round Rock’s inclusion in the 2025 list is a reflection of our strong economy, safe neighborhoods, family-friendly amenities, and growing entrepreneurial ecosystem. We’re honored to be recognized alongside other thriving communities across the country.
