Round Rock Chamber’s Startup Day Receives 2024 Excellence in Economic Development Bronze Award from the International Economic Development Council

IEDC’s annual Excellence Awards honor the economic development organizations, government entities, initiatives, and programs that have demonstrated consistent, exemplary performance in the profession.


(September 13, 2024 – Round Rock, TX) Round Rock Chamber received a 2024 Excellence in Economic Development Bronze Award from the International Economic Development Council (IEDC). The award was bestowed specifically for the organization’s work in the Entrepreneurial & Small Business Development category for the inaugural Round Rock Startup Day that took place on May 2, 2024. The event was recognized for its remarkable success in uniting entrepreneurs, business leaders, and the community to drive innovation in Round Rock.

Round Rock Chamber team members will attend the IEDC 2024 Annual Conference in Denver, CO, September 15-18 where they will be acknowledged and honored with the award. The Excellence in Economic Development Awards program covered 26 categories, scored by 163 judges. This year, 64 Gold, 87 Silver, and 87 Bronze winners were selected from 146 organizations. Each category highlights transformative projects that have had a profound impact on communities.
