Round Rock Chamber Partners with RRISD to Connect Educators and Businesses

The Round Rock Chamber partnered with the Career and Technical Education (CTE) team at Round Rock Independent School District (RRISD) to continue the summer series: Coffee Connections.

Started last year, this virtual series aims to connect educators with industry experts over four sessions this summer to discuss how to better align classroom education with employer needs. The Chamber’s workforce strategy emphasizes employer and educator engagement which is vital to better prepare our workforce pipeline and set businesses up for success.

Last week concluded the four sessions of the series. Each session, roughly 20 educators participated in facilitated conversations with the following business partners:

• East/West Manufacturing Enterprises
• Kalahari Resorts & Conventions
• Dell Technologies, Inc.
• St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center
