Round Rock Chamber Continues Focus on Employer and Educator Engagement
The Round Rock Chamber partnered with the Career and Technical Education (CTE) team at Round Rock Independent School District (ISD) to launch a new summer series: Coffee Connections. This virtual series aims to connect educators with industry experts over eight sessions this summer to discuss how to better align classroom education with employer needs. The Chamber’s workforce strategy emphasizes employer and educator engagement which is vital to better prepare our workforce pipeline and set businesses up for success.
Last week concluded the first four sessions of the series. Over 60 educators participated in facilitated conversations with four different business partners:
- Round Rock Police Department
- Round Rock Independent School District Police Department
- Anchor-Ventana Glass
