Round Rock Chamber Announces Expansion of AYRO

Rapidly-growing manufacturer designs energy-efficient vehicles

Round Rock, TX – The Round Rock Chamber announced today that Round Rock-based AYRO (Nasdaq: AYRO) has doubled its manufacturing footprint in Round Rock. AYRO, formerly Austin Electric Vehicle, was founded in 2017. The advanced electric vehicle manufacturing company was subleasing 10,000 square feet at Chandler Creek. AYRO relocated earlier this year to approximately 24,000 square feet of space at Settlers Crossing. The new location provides opportunities for the company to grow.

AYRO expects to create and maintain many new jobs in Round Rock over the next five years. The company also plans to invest significantly in their Round Rock facility including tooling, equipment, and infrastructure.
