Rotary Club of Round Rock Presents Donation to Round Rock Chamber from 1st Annual The BBQ Thing

The Rotary Club of Round Rock presented a $2,500 donation to the Round Rock Chamber from the proceeds raised during its 1^st Annual The BBQ Thing. The event held on September 16^th held a BBQ cookoff and fundraising event to help raise scholarships and funds for community organizations.

The donation to the Round Rock Chamber reflects the Rotary Club’s commitment to service above self. The funds awarded to the Chamber will continue to assist our initiatives in promoting business growth, job creation, and overall economic generation in an effort to continue to make Round Rock the best place to live and work.

Other organizations who received funding through this year’s The BBQ Thing included Backpack Friends, Agape Pregnancy Resource Center, Round Rock ISD Partners in Education Foundation, YMCA of Central Texas and Kyle’s Challenge.
