RevCo Energy establishes HQ, manufacturing in Round Rock
The Round Rock Chamber is proud to announce that RevCo Energy (REV), a dual-use energy technology company, has selected Round Rock, Texas, for its corporate headquarters and manufacturing operations. The announcement marks a significant milestone for both the company and the city’s growing entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystem.
The company’s new facility will be located at 1890 Commerce Park, 1890 N AW Grimes Blvd, occupying approximately 5,000 square feet dedicated to operations and manufacturing production.
REV designs rapidly deployable, mobile microgrid systems that serve both defense and commercial markets. Its ruggedized solar and battery-powered units provide grid-optional power for military operations, disaster response, municipalities, construction sites, and other remote applications, reducing reliance on fuel logistics while enhancing energy security.
Over the past year, REV has engaged with several Chamber-led entrepreneurship initiatives and was awarded a $40,000 Defense Innovation Fund grant to accelerate commercialization of its dual-use technology, further strengthening Round Rock’s emerging defense innovation ecosystem.
CEO Kirtan Nagavarapu first introduced the company to the local startup community through 1 Million Cups Round Rock before being selected for the second gBETA Round Rock accelerator cohort. Throughout that process, the Chamber worked alongside the company by connecting RevCo with mentors, investors, business resources, and ultimately helping identify a home in Round Rock for its growing operations.
“Round Rock has been in our corner since we were still refining our pitch. Between 1 Million Cups, gBETA Round Rock, and the Chamber’s Defense Innovation Fund, this community has been actively invested in giving us the tools to grow,” said Nagavarapu. “After considering several locations in Central Texas, we’re excited to put down our manufacturing roots in a place that treats founders as partners.”
While the company’s expansion brings new, high-quality headquarters and manufacturing jobs to Round Rock, the announcement also reflects the success of the Chamber’s long-term strategy to support entrepreneurs and grow innovative companies from within the community.
“RevCo’s decision to establish operations in Round Rock is exactly the kind of success story we envisioned when we made entrepreneurship and innovation a core part of our economic development strategy,” said Jordan Robinson, president and CEO of the Round Rock Chamber. “We’ve intentionally invested in building an environment where entrepreneurs have access to the resources, connections, and support they need to launch and scale their businesses. RevCo’s exciting announcement reinforces why Round Rock is becoming a destination for founders looking to build and grow innovative companies.”
REV’s investment also advances one of the Chamber’s target industry sectors by adding another company to the region’s growing defense and dual-use technology ecosystem. By combining entrepreneurship, innovation, advanced manufacturing, and national security technologies, RevCo represents the type of high-growth company the Chamber is working to recruit, support, and grow as part of its long-term economic development strategy.
