Global manufacturing giant grows its Austin-area footprint to 1.3M square feet

Company known to make everything from Apple computers to hairdryers

One of the world’s largest contract manufacturers has taken over a 150,000-square-foot building in Round Rock that has quietly pushed the company’s footprint to more than 1.3 million square feet in the Austin area.

Flex Ltd., which tacitly moved its U.S. headquarters to Austin last May, recently leased the entirety of the 152,000-square-foot Building 1 at the Settlers Grove industrial park at 2200 Chisholm Trail, according to a representative from CoStar Group, which tracks real estate data throughout the country.
