gBETA Round Rock Caps Successful Inaugural Accelerator with Startup Showcase

Last week, the Round Rock Chamber celebrated a major milestone in our community’s innovation journey, the inaugural gBETA Round Rock Startup Showcase, where all five companies from the first cohort delivered compelling pitches to investors, partners, and community supporters. This event marked the culmination of a seven-week accelerator program designed to support early-stage founders and position Round Rock as a thriving hub for entrepreneurial growth.

Launched in partnership with gener8tor, gBETA Round Rock is a free, no-equity pre-accelerator that provides founders with tailored mentoring, investor connections and hands-on business development support. Over the course of seven weeks, the cohort participated in mentor swarms, lunch & learns, weekly one-on-one coaching sessions and community engagement opportunities all leading up to this showcase event on January 28.

The evening was filled with energy and enthusiasm as each founder shared their company’s mission, traction and future plans. The five startups who completed the program represent a diverse range of industries and innovative solutions. The showcase not only demonstrated the impressive progress these founders have made but also highlighted the strength of Round Rock’s early-stage ecosystem.

The success of the inaugural gBETA Round Rock cohort underscores the strength and potential of our local startup ecosystem. Applications are now open for the second gBETA Round Rock cohort, with a deadline of March 8, 2026, and the program officially launching on April 2, 2026. Early-stage founders interested in participating are encouraged to apply and become part of Round Rock’s growing innovation community.
