Atolla Tech Awarded $15,000 Defense Innovation Fund Grant

The Round Rock Chamber is proud to congratulate Atolla Tech on being awarded a $15,000 Defense Innovation Fund (DIF) grant, a program designed to accelerate high-potential, dual-use technologies and strengthen Round Rock’s growing defense innovation ecosystem.

Atolla Tech is an emerging leader in advanced sensing and detection technologies. Their work focuses on developing lightweight, efficient, and highly accurate systems—particularly in the security and defense space. One of their standout innovations is a next-generation counter-UAS (C-UAS) solution that uses lidar and machine learning to rapidly detect and identify unmanned aircraft systems. This cutting-edge approach offers speed, precision, and adaptability, making it valuable for both military applications and civilian security needs.

The Round Rock Defense Innovation Fund was established to develop a thriving innovation ecosystem that supports high-growth entrepreneurs and start-up businesses within Round Rock’s target industry, aerospace, defense and security. The DIF is designed to drive the growth of defense innovation companies at various levels of revenue and funding stages. DIF grants range from $10-50K and will be awarded through an application process and on a case-by-case basis.
