Round Rock Chamber Joins Historic Business Delegation to South Korea
The Round Rock Chamber’s President & CEO, Jordan Robinson, recently participated in a historic business delegation to South Korea, joining more than 30 economic and community leaders from across Central Texas.
The visit was a joint initiative between the Williamson County Economic Development Partnership (WilCo EDP) and the Greater Austin Asian Chamber of Commerce (GAACC), aimed at strengthening economic ties and promoting Central Texas as a premier destination for international business expansion.
Over the course of the trip, delegates engaged in high-level meetings with South Korean companies actively seeking opportunities to expand operations in the United States. The discussions highlighted Central Texas’ strong business climate, advanced manufacturing capabilities, and growing network of Korean companies, all of which position Round Rock as an ideal location for investment and growth.
“The amount of interest and opportunity from South Korean companies looking to enter the U.S. market is remarkable,” said Robinson. “Round Rock is uniquely positioned to attract these businesses with our pro-business environment, skilled workforce, and access to major industry clusters. The potential for growth and job creation in our community is tremendous.”
The trip reflects the Chamber’s ongoing commitment to international marketing and investment attraction, as outlined in its five-year economic development strategy. With growing interest from Asian markets—particularly in advanced industries like semiconductors, biotech, and clean energy—Round Rock continues to elevate its visibility on the global stage.
