Chamber, gener8tor Team Up to Power Early-Stage Startup Accelerator

ROUND ROCK, Texas — The Round Rock Chamber has partnered with gener8tor, a nationally ranked venture capital firm and accelerator network, to launch an innovative program designed to support and scale early-stage startups in Greater Round Rock.

The new program, gBETA Round Rock, is a free, seven-week, no-equity accelerator that provides startup founders with concierge coaching and tailored programming, along with access to a global network of mentors, customers and investors. The program is designed to set a path for startups to participate in future equity-based accelerator programs and investment opportunities.

The gBETA accelerator program is open to early-stage startups across all industries that are based in Round Rock and the Central Texas region. Through this partnership, gener8tor and the Chamber aim to foster a thriving, inclusive innovation ecosystem that strengthens Round Rock’s entrepreneurial pipeline and fuels long-term economic growth.

“The launch of gBETA Round Rock marks a major milestone for our region’s entrepreneurial ecosystem,” said Jordan Robinson, President & CEO of the Round Rock Chamber. “By partnering with gener8tor, we’re bringing world-class resources directly to local founders and reaffirming Round Rock’s commitment to supporting startups, driving innovation, and creating quality jobs.”

Together, gener8tor and the Round Rock Chamber aim to expand the region’s entrepreneurial support system and position Round Rock as a hub for innovation.

“As Round Rock continues its focus on innovation we are excited for the opportunity to support the efforts being made in the region,” said Vanessa Huerta, gener8tor gBETA Vice President. “By launching gBETA Round Rock, we’re ensuring that local entrepreneurs have the tools and networks they need to compete nationally while continuing to grow in Central Texas.”

Funding for gBETA Round Rock was made possible through the Round Rock Transportation and Economic Development Corporation (Type B), a reflection of the strong and collaborative economic development partnership between the City of Round Rock and the Round Rock Chamber.

Applications for the inaugural gBETA Round Rock cohort are now open. The deadline to submit an application is Oct. 19. The first gBETA Round Rock program will kick off Oct. 30. Founders and startups interested in applying can learn more or request office hours on the gBETA Round Rock website.
