Chamber Board Endorses Six Proposed Constitutional Amendments
The Round Rock Chamber Board of Directors voted unanimously to endorse six proposed Texas constitutional amendments during its regular board meeting on September 25, 2025.
A total of 17 constitutional amendments are on the November 4 ballot. While each of the constitutional amendments relate to different areas, the Round Rock Chamber endorsed measures that related most appropriately to its Agenda for Economic Vitality and Legislative Session.
The Chamber is not opposing any proposed constitutional amendment in the November election.
These are the propositions the board endorsed:
Proposition 1 – Endowment for Technical Colleges
Proposition 2 – Ban on State Capital Gains Tax
Proposition 4 – $20B Water Infrastructure Investment
Proposition 6 – Ban on State Taxes on Stock Transactions
Proposition 9 – Business Personal Property Tax Cut
Proposition 14 – $3B to Establish the Dementia Prevention and Research Institute of Texas
More information about each of the 17 proposed constitutional amendments can be found on the Secretary of States website here. Early Voting begins on October 20 and runs through October 31, with Election Day on November 4. Polling locations and hours can be found at VoteTexas.org.
