Ambassador Spotlight: Scott Tisdale

The Round Rock Chamber Ambassador Program provides an opportunity for motivated, enthusiastic, and articulate businesspeople to represent the Chamber at functions and events across the community.  This month’s Ambassador Spotlight is on Scott Tisdale.

Scott grew up in an Air Force family and his father was a pilot. Scott had the opportunity to experience various cultures and locations and lived in Germany for four years prior to moving here to Round Rock in 1978. Scott attended Round Rock High School and then went to Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos where he studied Business Management. Scott then started his career in Restaurant and Hospitality Management and had years of great experiences leading successful teams in a variety of environments. He married and had four children and lived in Indiana and Florida until four years ago when he moved back home to Round Rock.

Scott switched gears a little more than two years ago and took his career in a different direction opening the Scott Tisdale Insurance Agency in Brushy Creek. His Management, Hospitality, and Facilities experience has really helped him to become a successful Agent. You will find that Scott has a focus on properly covering the needs of his clients always with a friendly smile. Scott enjoys live music performances and all things outdoors including golf, boating, snow skiing, and hiking and is always up for an adventure.

Scott joined the Round Rock Chamber to be more involved in the community he loves. Taking it a step further, Scott joined the Round Rock Chamber Ambassador team to be more actively involved in supporting Chamber Investors and to support our growing local economy. Scott also believes that the Ambassador program helps support our local businesses grow and thrive through networking and referrals. The Ambassador program offers a sense of belonging and supports a core value of community.
