Ambassador Spotlight: LeeAnn Huggs
The Round Rock Chamber Ambassador Program provides an opportunity for motivated, enthusiastic, and articulate business people to represent the chamber at functions and events across the community. This month’s Ambassador spotlight is on LeeAnn Huggs.
LeeAnn is a lifelong Texan, growing up in the pineywoods of Lufkin. She is a proud graduate of Texas A&M University, where she studied Community Health before beginning her career with Baylor Scott and White Health in College Station. In 2017, she made her way to Austin.
LeeAnn has been an Ambassador since 2019. Her favorite part of being an Ambassador is meeting other members of the Round Rock community and navigating them through all the chamber has to offer. She sees it as a really unique way to get to know all sorts of different businesses and community members.
LeeAnn currently works as a Community Education Specialist with Baylor Scott and White Health. In this role, she coordinates educational activities and develops programs for the purpose of informing the public of health issues, preventing injury, and promoting wellness in the community. She is passionate about health education and always looking for ways to spread health awareness.
LeeAnn lives in Austin with her husband, Ben, and their two dogs, Gus and Samantha. She is currently back in school earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
