Ambassador Spotlight: Joe Jeffers

The Round Rock Chamber Ambassador Program provides an opportunity for motivated, enthusiastic, and articulate business people to represent the chamber at functions and events across the community. This month’s Ambassador spotlight is on Joe Jeffers.

Joe comes to Texas from the Central Florida area. He grew up in Okeechobee, Florida where he graduated from Okeechobee High School in 2003. After graduating from the University of Central Florida in Orlando, Joe commissioned as a Communications Officer in the United States Army in 2011. He spent five and a half years on Active Duty where his last duty station was Fort Hood, Texas. In 2016, Joe transitioned into the Army Reserve and made a permanent home in Round Rock which is his wife’s hometown.

Joe found a new career as a Financial Advisor with Edward Jones. His office is located a couple miles south of downtown Round Rock across from the post office on Double Creek Drive. He has a passion for providing education to investors on a variety of goals including retirement, college savings, cash management, and insurance. His office provides personal service with the ultimate result being people making smart decisions with money.

In addition to working at Edward Jones, Joe is involved throughout the community. He is currently the club Secretary for the Kiwanis Club of Round Rock, a service organization interested in child advocacy and youth well-being throughout Williamson County. You can find Joe out at the soccer fields on the weekends as a USSF certified official refereeing games for youth and adults around town. He still serves in the Army Reserve and will have twelve years of service this summer, with the goal of full retirement in the future.

Joe joined the Round Rock Chamber in 2018. He became an Ambassador in 2021 to make a greater impact in the community. One of Joe’s goals is to be a resource for people by making connections, which the Ambassador program supports and promotes. Joe longs for his clients and colleagues to tell him what they need and be able to connect them with someone he knows who can help take care of them. This is why he networks multiple times a week and attends many Chamber functions. He wants to be “the guy” who solves problems whether they are financial or not.

Joe’s free time is all about spending time with his wife and two kids. They also have a dog, cat, tortoise, and fish. He has recently taken up mountain biking and has been known to play a round of foot golf now and then. He is very excited to flourish in the Round Rock community and live a very long life here.
