Ambassador Spotlight: Joe Jeffers

Joe grew up in a small town in Central Florida where he learned the value of hard work from his father and grandfather. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Engineering and Computer Science before joining the Army as an officer stationed at Fort Hood in 2011. He transitioned into the Army Reserve in 2016 when he moved to Round Rock and began his career in Financial Planning. Joe is still actively serving as a Reservist in the Signal Corps, working with the Army’s communication systems.

Joe married his lovely wife Laura in 2015. She is a native of Round Rock, which is why they are permanently located here today. They have two sons, the first born in 2019 and the second born in 2021, along with several pets-the most famous being their tortoise. Joe is an avid sports fan — his biggest passion is soccer, where he is an accomplished referee at the professional level. He also volunteers his time as a board member with the Kiwanis Club of Round Rock and supports various other non-profits through the Chamber and with Kiwanis partnerships.
