Ambassador Spotlight: Christy Torrance

The Round Rock Chamber Ambassador program serves as a welcoming committee by offering the hand of friendship to chamber investors. They help promote the chamber and welcome new investors. This month’s Ambassador Spotlight is Christy Torrance.

Christy is an entrepreneur by heart. She has owned and operated two self-made businesses and understands the importance of keeping people and teams engaged to reach goals. She began her career with Amazing Magnets, located in Round Rock, in September 2022 and has had the opportunity to travel to various industry tradeshows on behalf of the company.

Round Rock, Texas is home to Christy. She was proud to be able to join the Round Rock Chamber as an Ambassador in March 2023. Since then, she has attended the ribbon cuttings of several local businesses and chamber events such as Taste of Round Rock.  She enjoys the volunteering opportunities presented through her work with the Chamber and focuses on community connection as well as community outreach on behalf of Amazing Magnets.

During her down time Christy enjoys spending time with her family and her adorable Goldendoodle, Wynston, as well as exploring the beautiful walking and hiking trails that Round Rock has to offer. She loves to support the community businesses in Round Rock by making meaningful connections with outstanding business and community leaders.
