Ambassador Highlight: Juliana Weiss-Roessler

Juliana Weiss-Roessler is the founder of WR Digital Marketing and author of the upcoming book Digital Marketing That Grows with You.

Almost two decades ago, she took a position with TV’s Dog Whisperer Cesar Millan.

Juliana recognized that most viewers were interested in addressing behavior issues with their own dogs at home. And she suggested using a website, email, and social media to provide content geared towards their specific needs — and then offering paid resources.

And thus, her career in digital marketing was born!

During her time heading his web content strategy, her team built a high-traffic site, highly engaged email list, and a social media following of over 1 million fans — while launching the sale of six DVD series, three training books, and the Ilusion training collar.

Since then, Juliana has consulted or worked on the marketing strategy for over 100 organizations, including National Restaurant Association, Miami-Dade County, and Essentials PetCare.

Along the way, she found a passion in helping small and mid-sized businesses.

Their marketing is usually handled by a single marketing coordinator, front office staff, or even the owners themselves. And she saw that they were often overwhelmed by all the “must-do’s” and “best practices” recommended for digital marketing — and then frustrated by a lack of results.

The truth is it’s easier than ever to build a website, create a social media post, or design an email campaign. But those things are not marketing.

Marketing means planning a strategy, implementing that strategy, measuring to see if it worked — and then repeating the process to improve. And she saw that few agencies provided that type of support to small and mid-sized businesses.

So she founded WR Digital Marketing.

Together, she and her team are dedicated to helping businesses with the “Plan, Implement, Measure” cycle. They provide training, consulting, strategy, and marketing services such as design, copywriting, SEO, and web development.

In late 2022, she became an Ambassador for the Round Rock Chamber. She loves the opportunity to get to know other business leaders, learn about local organizations, and connect with the community.

Juliana is also a speaker for the non-profits PeopleFund and SCORE. And she enjoys encouraging tomorrow’s business leaders to take risks and dream big as a volunteer for Girl Scouts. (Go Troop 1587!)

When not working, scouting, or taking macro photos of insects, she’s at home enjoying the company of her super-supportive husband, two amazing kids, and their menagerie of pets.
