Round Rock Promotes Defense Innovations at Fed Supernova 2025
Round Rock had a strong presence at Fed Supernova 2025, the premier defense innovation conference hosted in Austin, August 19-21. The sold-out, three-day event drew more than 1,000 leaders from the Department of Defense, startups, investors, and industry to explore the future of dual-use technology.
This year, Round Rock was represented with both a booth on the Innovation Expo and hosted a happy hour during the week’s programming. The booth provided an opportunity to showcase the city’s strengths—including its veteran-rich workforce, pro-business climate, and supportive community—to defense innovators and decision-makers from across the country.
Beyond the booth, the Chamber hosted an exclusive Round Rock Defense Happy Hour in partnership with Q-Branch, a dual-use accelerator in downtown Austin. This event brought together more than 100 key players in national security for an evening of conversations, connections, and the chance to hear from companies leading the way in defense innovation in Round Rock.
Together, these efforts underscored Round Rock’s growing role in defense innovation and highlighted the city’s unique advantages for companies shaping the future of national security.
