2021 Board of Directors Nominations

Chamber Investors –

One of the most important functions our organization does each year is nominate new leadership from the business community to guide the Chamber. As the community institution responsible for leading economic growth in Round Rock, our board sets the strategic direction for the Chamber and our community.

The Round Rock Chamber is soliciting nominations for the 2021 board of directors. We are seeking innovative business leaders that can lend their experience, insight, and talent as we continue our important work. The nomination committee will develop a board includes a diverse set of individuals from varying industries, backgrounds, and expertise.

Members of the board are asked to attend monthly board meetings (currently held the morning of the fourth Thursday each month), engage on the issues affecting our community, support the staff, and financially support the Chamber and its mission to lead Round Rock’s economic-generation efforts.

If you believe that you, or another investor you know, would be an engaged and community-minded leader for the Chamber, please complete the brief online nomination form by July 28, 2020. The form only takes five minutes to fill out.

Early in August, the nomination committee will review each applicant to determine which individuals meet the professional and diverse needs that the board requires this year. The committee will develop a slate of seven nominees, which are recommended to the current board of directors and are confirmed by a vote of the board during its August board meeting.

In order for the Chamber to continue to work at a high level producing meaningful, measurable results, it needs a strong set of nominees. Thus, I hope that you will seriously consider nominating yourself or another worthy candidate.
