This year's rankings continue the methodology used last year, which emphasizes the robustness of a region's growth and allows the rankings to include all of the metropolitan statistical areas for which the Bureau of Labor Statistics reports monthly employment data.

Top 10 Cities to live

Round Rock has been named one of the top 10 best places to live in America. Money Magazine ranked Round Rock number seven on the list. At the top is Plymouth, Minnesota, followed by Fort Collins, Colorado, Naperville, Illinois, Irvine, California, Franklin Township, New Jersey and Norman, Oklahoma.

The best place to live reflects a low cost of living, rising incomes and job growth.

The primary goal of the Leadership Round Rock program is to help people view themselves as resources for addressing important community needs. Leadership Round Rock develops leadership skills in individuals, and promotes awareness of issues and opportunities which impact the City of Round Rock.
