Be a positive influence for a Round Rock ISD student!
Mentoring is a way for community members and businesses to share their time and talents. Mentors provide support and encouragement regarding life, college, and careers to students who would benefit from a positive influence.
Mentoring takes place during the elementary, middle- or high-school day, usually just thirty minutes per week. Some of the ways to mentor include:
- Reading with elementary students
- Mentoring individual students
- Mentoring or speaking on college and career
- Teaching soft skills important for future success
There are just three steps to get started:
Would your business promote mentoring as a company initiative? Or are you motivated to mentor as an individual? For more information, visit the Round Rock ISD Future Readiness website or call 512.464.5967.
