Round Rock Chamber Seeks Non-Profit Applications for LRR Project

The Round Rock Chamber is seeking non-profit organizations to apply for the 2020 class project for Leadership Round Rock. The Greater Round Rock Community Foundation will be coordinating the application process for the chamber. All Williamson County non-profits with an impact in the Round Rock community are encouraged to apply. The class project is an annual event that engages participants of Leadership Round Rock to aid a local non-profit in a current need.

The goal of the class project is both to unite the participants in accomplishing a common goal as well as allow them to make their mark on the community by completing a service project for an outstanding organization. All applications received will be presented to the class and it is their ultimate decision on what project is selected. The class will be encouraged to focus on applications that can be accomplished in either a single day or a few days, spread over a set period of time. The class will need to have their projects completed by September at the latest.

Examples of projects range from painting or yard work to a public awareness campaign or social media blitz as well as volunteers for a gala, fundraiser, or silent auction. Though the class can certainly select bricks and mortar projects, leadership for the program will stress the difficulty in completing those types of projects in the timeline they are given. Get creative and inspire this year’s group to take on your organization. Past classes have accomplished some amazing things for our incredible local non-profits.

Please fill out the second page of the application and email it to The Greater Round Rock Community Foundation no later than February 5, 2020 for consideration.
