Round Rock Chamber Receives Top Honor for Website Design

ROUND ROCK, Texas – The Round Rock Chamber announced today that it has received a first place award, in the large-market category, from Texas Chamber of Commerce Executives (TCCE) for its website. The TCCE Media Contest is a statewide competition recognizing excellent work in chamber marketing and is judged by a panel of experts in the field. Some of the criteria used to evaluate chamber websites from across the state included overall structure/navigation, ease of use, use of branding, and advancing the mission of the chamber. They also judged how the site motivates the user to action and whether it incorporates any innovative or unique features.

As part of its rebranding initiative, the Round Rock Chamber created a new logo and launched a redesigned, responsive website in November 2015, which aligns with the organization’s long-term strategic plan. The redesign was developed in conjunction with Rhyme and Reason Design.

“We are honored to receive this award from TCCE,” said Scotti Woolery-Price, the chamber’s vice president of marketing. “The results and reaction to our rebranding initiative have been extremely positive and this award is affirmation that our communication efforts are reaching the standards of excellence we want to achieve.” Woolery-Price continued by saying, “the chamber aims to continually add more value to our investors and to tell our unique story as the economic generation leader of Round Rock, which is key to our branding strategy.”
