ROUND ROCK, Texas – The Round Rock Chamber today announced that Nichole Vance has been selected as its new director of business attraction. In this role, Vance will be responsible for leading the organization’s economic development recruitment efforts. Vance will start in her new position on September 15.

“We are very excited for Nichole to join our outstanding economic development team, said Jim Boles, the chamber’s Momentum chair. “She will bring experience and new ideas to the team, and we look forward to working with her. ”

Vance joins the chamber from the Allen Economic Development Corporation in the Dallas area, where she has served as the marketing manager. Vance has been honored by the International Economic Development Council with two Gold and one Bronze Excellence in Economic Development Awards.

“We found Nichole to be very sharp, enthusiastic, highly qualified, with great experience,” said Mike Doss, the chamber’s board chair. “She will be an excellent addition to our organization, and we look forward to her working alongside us as we continue to further our economic development success in our community.”

“Nichole’s sales and marketing experience combined with insight gained from working with a Dallas metro economic development group, known for their aggressiveness, brings unique perspective to the position,” added Ben White, the chamber’s vice president of economic development.

With over eight years in marketing and communications experience, Vance is well positioned to make an immediate impact in her new role. She holds a Master in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Cincinnati.

“I’m honored to be joining such a highly accomplished team in Round Rock and for the opportunity to be part of a community with such a prestigious reputation,” said Vance. “I look forward to building relationships, integrity, growth, and success in Round Rock and continuing the city’s reputation as one of the most dynamic areas in Central Texas.”
