Initiative includes refreshed logo, enhanced website, and new name
Round Rock, Texas – The Round Rock Chamber today unveiled the completion of its rebranding initiative in support of its long-term strategic plan. The project entailed a full-scale remaking of the chamber’s logo, website, and other communication components. The new brand aligns the organization with its eight pillars of economic generation that were revealed in February. The chamber also announced that they will no longer include “of commerce” in their name and will simply be the “Round Rock Chamber.”
“Our new and improved brand ensures that our external image matches the quality of our overall work,” said Scotti Woolery-Price, the chamber’s vice president of marketing. “As the leader of economic generation for Round Rock, it is imperative that our brand personify the innovative and progressive organization that we have become. We have now achieved that goal.”
As part of the significant transformation that it has undergone in the past eighteen months, the chamber recognized that it was vital to communicate the full range of its value in order to credibly address the needs of its investors and stakeholders. The new logo (or mark) includes two “R” letters facing one another. The forward-facing “R” represents the chamber’s desire to continually look toward the future. The backward-facing “R” symbolizes the organization’s consistent respect of the past. The two letters are separated by a white (or negative space) arrow, which signifies the chamber constantly aiming higher.
Many upgraded features are included in the new mobile-friendly website, which can be viewed at www.roundrockchamber.org, to better serve chamber investors and economic development prospects. Designed to support the eight pillars, the site’s highlights include overall ease of use, an enhanced search feature, improved benefit levels, a more comprehensive area industry map, an economic development video, and detailed site selection tools. The new website also incorporates the chamber’s former economic development site – www.roundrocktex.com.
The rebranding initiative, which was one of the top priorities in the chamber’s 2015 business plan, was developed in the conjunction with Rhyme and Reason Design. The firm has previously worked with the Georgetown (Texas) Convention and Visitors Bureau; the City of Cedar Park, Texas; and the Florida Small Business Development Center. They are currently working with the City of Round Rock’s Shop the Rock program.
