Round Rock Chamber Announces Leadership Class Participants

Participants prepare to increase their leadership capabilities

ROUND ROCK, Texas – The Round Rock Chamber is pleased to announce the 2016 – 2017 Leadership Round Rock participants. Leadership Round Rock is designed to help current and emerging leaders understand the dynamics of the community and the role leadership plays in its long-term success. Graduates emerge from the program with an unprecedented level of community awareness as well as insights that they can apply in the workplace. By developing a strong and diverse pool of community leaders, the chamber is ensuring that Round Rock’s future will meet or exceed its successful past.

“Leadership Round Rock is an invaluable program that affords our leaders of tomorrow an opportunity to build a solid foundation for community involvement.” said Ryan McGahey, the Leadership Round Rock Planning committee chairman. “This dynamic program engages our emerging leaders in the ever-expanding landscape of Round Rock and allows participants to establish and grow lasting relationships that will carry our community into the future. We are excited for this class and look forward to the great things to come for each of them.”

Leadership Round Rock consists of eight, full-day sessions occurring from October through May, plus an orientation session which is held in September. Past participants are serving in roles ranging from CEOs to elected officials. The program sets the tone for responding to change by challenging participants to identify their own passions, take ownership of their surroundings, and get involved in making a difference.
