Recently, the Round Rock Chamber developed a multi-year strategy designed to build a more entrepreneurial-driven community in Round Rock. A component of the strategy, called REV UP Round Rock, is to foster a more connected network of entrepreneurs.
One of the ways that we are doing that is by hosting a quarterly event called Spark. Spark occurs in a small, extremely relaxed environment where a speaker(s) tells the audience about their “entrepreneurial journey.” The idea is that by having successful entrepreneurs share their stories—the good, the bad, and the ugly—that budding and/or struggling entrepreneurs will find the inspiration they need to continue on their journeys.
Our next free event focused on entrepreneurship is scheduled for October 24, 2017, at Gravity Workspace from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The Round Rock Chamber invites area entrepreneurs to attend Spark. Come hear Jason Cohen, founder of WP Engine, tell his entrepreneurial story in an informal setting. Find out how his successful journey relates to yours. #RevUpRoundRock
