The glorious Round Rock reigns again.
A recently conducted study by LendEDU revealed out of 300 cities, Round Rock topped out as the third-best city in the nation to start a family.
The study used a unique ranking system defined by different factors important to those looking for a new home to raise a family. Factors included education, cost of buying a first home, crime and safety and the percentage of young families.
Outside of its regular blog and research studies, LendEDU offers an independent marketplace for student loans and refinancing.
Though Round Rock didn’t top the list, it comes honorably behind Texas cities Frisco and McKinney. Plano and Carrollton were also ranked, earning spots in the top 10.
The distinction comes as no surprise, as the city is known for its proximity to Austin, ample family-fun events, great education, friendly neighborhoods and numerous outdoor activities and trails.
It turns out that Round Rock is also a hub for love, having been ranked as one of Amazon’s 20 Most Romantic Cities in the U.S. earlier this month.
